GPHG001: Global Grooves, Vol.1

Every now and then, a label comes along whose output is so revolutionary, it completely redefines not just music, but pop culture as a whole. Unfortunately, Group Hug Music isn't one of those labels. But we're gonna try and entertain you anyway.

Our first free release, "Global Grooves, Vol.1", aims to showcase the best in contemporary disco and house music from all four corners of the globe. The first half of the compilation is strictly aimed at the club, packed full of upbeat disco house cuts from DJ KORSS (Poland), LABERGE (Canada), AGENT STEREO (Chile) and ATTACK YOURSELF! (UK). The second half is a little deeper, with low-key, after-hours vibes from SAIR (Portugal), LE YOUTH (USA), JAMES WELSH (UK) and TERRENCE PEARCE (South Africa).
